Precept Frozen for 2023/24

January 27th 2027

For the second year in a row, Monk Fryston Parish Council has voted to freeze the existing precept level for coming year.

The precept is the Parish Council's share of council tax, and this freeze means that Monk Fryston residents will benefit from no increase in this charge.

As a Parish Council we are confident that we can continue to deliver for our community without asking residents to pay an increased level of tax.

We hope that this news is welcome, especially as our community continues to feel the impact of cost-of-living increases.
